Yarickza & LeRoy ~ Austin, Texas Wedding

When I met with Yarickza and her mom for the initial consult, they knew exactly what they wanted!  LeRoy is part of the armed services so it was natural for Yarickza to go with a navy blue as part of their color scheme.  To offset this dark colored pocket invite, they chose to go with a tangerine and pair it with a detailed damask pattern.  Yarickza and LeRoy finished off their wedding with a double sided program with the ceremony on one side and the other side their wedding party with characters, menus, place cards and table numbers.  It was definitely a pleasure working with you and your sweet mom!

Candice & Brandon ~ Chappell Hill, Texas Wedding

Candice and Brandon were so amazing to work with and referred to me by Honeydew Events.  I mostly met with Candice's mom, Gerry, to work on all their stationery.  I absolutely LOVED their theme and colors!  They went with dark gray, plum and it was a ranch style themed wedding.  Candice grew up with horses and instead of having table numbers, they went with tables named after all her horses.  What a cute idea!    For the invite, there was a pocket on the back where the RSVP card, accommodations and directions cards were nested.  Candice wanted a little bling, so a rhinestone buckle finished the look.  The colors and theme carried throughout the menu, program, seating chart and thank you cards.  Papered cones holding rice were also created for their wedding exit.  Rice cone and menu picture provided by Scott Kelley Photography.

Casey & Paul ~ League City, Texas Wedding

Wow...where to even begin...

First, I apologize for posting this a year after their wedding.  I've been playing catch up with all the weddings from last year and having professional (my husband) pictures taken of my stationery.

Casey was a neighbor of mine back in elementary school and we were great friends!  She moved away and then we moved away and we lost touch.  Fast forward about 25 years and she finds me on My Space.  It became obsolete and we all now have Facebook.  AGAIN, she finds me on there....stalker!  :)   Casey told me later she was determined to find me again so that I could do her wedding stationery.  I was so excited!!!

We meet and start designing her stationery.  She knew she wanted a lock and key vintage theme with pale pinks and dark grays.  On their save the date, we did a tag style to which she used a cricut machine and created a thick vintage key attached with a cord.  Needless to say, she's pretty creative herself!  This theme carried on through to the invite as well.

I want to say a HUGE thank you to Casey & Paul for letting me a part of your wedding planning!  And another HUGE HUGE HUGE thank you to Casey for supporting me by coming to our open house this past March and bringing new clients to me and my studio mates, Kristina Frank Make Up & Zasey Photography, Amber Strickler.

Happy Belated Anniversary you two!  XOXO!

Kristen & David ~ Canton, Massachusetts Wedding

It was such a pleasure to work with this couple!  Kristen and David were referred to me by her sister, Nicole.  Their wedding color and theme was inspired by the month they were getting married in, October.  It was natural to go with these fall colors of deep plum, pumpkin and sage and apple green.  I LOVED their color scheme.  We started out with invites and finished with place cards, table numbers, thank you and candy bar sign.  Each guest received candied apples as their favors with a personalized note from the bride and groom.  Photography from the wedding courtesy of Chinappi Photography.

Marjaana & Matteo ~ Gardajärvi, Italy Wedding

Marjaana contacted me a little over a year ago and wanted to do boarding pass save the dates.  There were a couple of things different about this particular couple.  They wanted it in Finnish and shipped to the United Kingdom.  In my mind, here's what happened:  Oh. My.  Someone from the United Kingdom wanted ME? to do their invites?  WOW.  I was sooooo excited.  Marjaana and Matteo wanted something a little different at first with light pinks and lilacs but then decided for a bolder look with antique gold and fuchsia.  After sending out save the dates, they followed with an authentic Italian passport invite as well as formal invites.  Congrats to the both of them and I hope their wedding will everything they want and more this coming May.

Blingin' Chandeliers

Congratulations to Tiffanie and Khuong!  They were married yesterday and I loved doing their wedding stationery.  Their theme consisted of chandeliers and lots of bling to complement Hotel ZaZa.  Swarovski crystals were added to the invitation to give it a little flair to go along with their black, graphite, fuchsia and blackberry color scheme.  Thanks to Mai Dang for getting us together!

Winter Tulips

When Gigi and Jason met with me a few months ago, they knew for sure they wanted something with yellow and grays.  This color combo is awesome!  Gigi wasn't sure what theme she wanted to go with but after looking at a few samples, tulips was the winner.  Instead of using the custom response card and response envelope, Gigi and Jason decided on saving with postage by using a response postcard.  Also keeping in theme with the color scheme, we also used a dark gray envelope and enhanced with a wrapped address band for sophistication.  I love it!

Bronze 'n Paisley

Blanca and Jorge loved this design that I created as a sample for a wedding colllection. Their colors are blue and bronze and she wanted to incorporate paisleys throughout the wedding.

Perfect Pocketfold

Last August at the Houston Wedding Showcase, I met Magen Johnson with Hand in Hand Weddings & Event. Since then, she has brought many couples my way. Katie and David and I rummaged through my samples and what Katie wanted to do was make a statement with a large invite. She fell in love with the 7x7 pocketfold invite as soon as she saw it and knew it was "the one." We quickly came up a combo of royal blue, black and silver. Katie absolutely knew she had to have the wedding program fan with a touch of paisley for her April wedding. Not only will it keep her guests cool, but it will also double as a wedding favor.

First comes Wedding...then comes Reception

Last year, Gretchen and Mary met with me to design an invite for their wedding in Canada. The 7x7 pocketfold was what we came up with and now we met again to design an invite for all their friends and family that couldn't join them for a reception. The pocket invite was the perfect choice to hold the additional info for their guests. We tied bronze with the turquoise together through all their stationery. Congratulations to Gretchen and Mary on their one year anniversary.

An Italian Wedding

Suzanne and I met shortly after she went to Houston Wedding Showcase and saw my work. She loved it. It took some time before we were able to create a design that had the simplistic and vineyard feel of the winery where Suzanne and Siggy would wed. After they came back from visiting Castello Banfi, she knew exactly what her color theme would be. The castle on the front tag gave the whole look it's final touch.

Garden Wedding

Kayla and Juan Pablo knew that they wanted a garden themed wedding next March. I created a mix of greens and purples with a touch of butterflies. Beginning with the Save the Date, they loved the one that I did for Meladie and Scott a while back. I used the same format and changed it to their colors and then we did a magnet instead of a flat card.

For the invitations, they wanted to include as much info as possible for the guests from the accommodations to the map and directions card. Their guests will be thoroughly prepared. I used a green patterned metallic paper to add a little flair to the invites.

The garden theme will be carried all the way through their wedding with their wedding program, table number and menu trifold, escort cards and ending with their thank you cards. What a pretty wedding this will be!

Square Invite

Jennifer and Jason decided on something different and unique. Going with a contemporary square invite, they didn't want all their inserts to just fall out of the envelope when their guests received it in the mail. I designed an invitation that solved just that. On the front of the invitation is their regular invite, but when flipped over, there's a pocket that holds everything in place. Brown and different shades of green are their wedding colors. Jennifer loved the completed look of the ribbons.

Silver & Red Pocket

My friend Shehanie that I've known since I was 15 called me a couple of weeks ago (and I haven't talked to her in over a year) and said her sister was getting married. They wanted to come over as soon as possible to do Rae and Jeffrey's invites since it was a quick engagement. Rae found a design she liked and went with a silver, white and cranberry. She loved the soft touch the cranberry ribbon gave to the sleek silver and white pocket invite. The back of the invitation is a pocket which hold the response and accommodation cards.
