Yarickza & LeRoy ~ Austin, Texas Wedding
When I met with Yarickza and her mom for the initial consult, they knew exactly what they wanted! LeRoy is part of the armed services so it was natural for Yarickza to go with a navy blue as part of their color scheme. To offset this dark colored pocket invite, they chose to go with a tangerine and pair it with a detailed damask pattern. Yarickza and LeRoy finished off their wedding with a double sided program with the ceremony on one side and the other side their wedding party with characters, menus, place cards and table numbers. It was definitely a pleasure working with you and your sweet mom!

Alicia & James ~ Montego Bay, Jamaica Wedding
Alicia emailed me about a year ago to start design her wedding invite. This was one of my favorite invites that I have designed. She wanted something simple and yet included enough info for their guests since it was a destination wedding. So I created an invite where the travel accommodations and reception information could be found on the back and the RSVP postcard could be slipped into the band. Alicia and James fell in love with it and program fans were created to match.

Candice & Brandon ~ Chappell Hill, Texas Wedding
Candice and Brandon were so amazing to work with and referred to me by Honeydew Events. I mostly met with Candice's mom, Gerry, to work on all their stationery. I absolutely LOVED their theme and colors! They went with dark gray, plum and it was a ranch style themed wedding. Candice grew up with horses and instead of having table numbers, they went with tables named after all her horses. What a cute idea! For the invite, there was a pocket on the back where the RSVP card, accommodations and directions cards were nested. Candice wanted a little bling, so a rhinestone buckle finished the look. The colors and theme carried throughout the menu, program, seating chart and thank you cards. Papered cones holding rice were also created for their wedding exit. Lori & Benjamin ~ Oahu, Hawaii Wedding
This wedding suite is one of my favorites! All tied into Lori and Benjamin's Hawaiian wedding theme was the phalaenopsis orchids. When I was designing their boarding pass invites, escort cards, table names, menus, programs signature drink sign and thank you signs, little did I know how gorgeous it would all look at their wedding. Congrats to the both of you. It was a pleasure playing in a little part of your wedding.

Katie & Chase ~ Houston, Texas Wedding
This is one of the sweetest couples I've ever met! About a year before their summer wedding, I met with Katie and Chase and started to go over their save the dates. They both agreed that they wanted their engagement pictures on there. So we did a few proofs before we got the right one nailed down. They turned out pretty cute! Then we met again a few months later to start designing their invites. To tie in the navy blue and tangerine, they chose to go with a sophisticated paisley print and finish off with a ribbon wrapped bow. And finally to complete the ensemble, Katie and Chase had programs made to match all their stationery. Wedding photography by Sassani Photography. Happy anniversary to you both!

Lan & Avinash - Houston, Texas Wedding
My sister, Lan, finally got married last June. Boy, was it a complete year of planning. I've never planned a wedding before and props go out to all the wedding planners out there! I got married in 2006 here in Houston, but I lived in Phoenix at the time and I flew here, spent 2 weeks and booked all my vendors. For me, it was that easy! Being the only sister of the bride, of course I went to the majority of the appointments, help in the decision making and keep her from getting stressed out. Lan and Avi had a dream of all dream weddings...from the surprise engagement (awesome job Avi!) to actually getting married on their 6th year anniversary of dating. And by being related to yours truly, they had the pick of picks when it came to their stationery. After a few trial combo of colors, Lan finally chose an assortment of graphite grays, silver, deep plums and fuchsia for her color palette accented by damask and crystals. This wedding was all about the details. Save the dates magnets, invitations suites, programs, place cards, table numbers, seating chart, floor plan, monogram and thank you cards completed their entire package.
To top this wedding off even more, The Knot Texas picked up this wedding to be featured in their Spring 2012 edition. Not only was I super excited for my sis and brother-in-law, I was excited to be mentioned in this amazing magazine!
I love my sister with all of my heart and would do anything for her. Avi, you have truly complemented her in every way and have made her one of the happiest people I know. Congrats on one of the most beautiful weddings ever. Photos by the amazing Ashley K.

Wedding in a Week Couple
Congratulations to Jaclyn & Chad for winning the Wedding in a Week contest! We met this past Monday and came up with this design for their wedding programs. They are an awesome couple and the very little time I got to know them, they are so grateful for all the vendors help in making this wedding become an amazing adventure. 100 programs were designed, cut, and assembled in less than 48 hours. Thanks to my husband for the extra help! Each guests' chair will have a program greeting them as they are seated and witness a weeks worth of awesome craziness all put together for the big event. Jaclyn will be here first thing in the morning to pick them up and then on to Hotel Sorella for Friday's big event. Their wedding will be aired Monday morning on Channel 55 between 6-10am. The newlyweds will also be at the Houston Wedding Showcase this Saturday at the George R. Brown Convention Center showcasing their big day.

Perfect Pocketfold
Last August at the Houston Wedding Showcase, I met Magen Johnson with Hand in Hand Weddings & Event. Since then, she has brought many couples my way. Katie and David and I rummaged through my samples and what Katie wanted to do was make a statement with a large invite. She fell in love with the 7x7 pocketfold invite as soon as she saw it and knew it was "the one." We quickly came up a combo of royal blue, black and silver. Katie absolutely knew she had to have the wedding program fan with a touch of paisley for her April wedding. Not only will it keep her guests cool, but it will also double as a wedding favor.

The garden theme will be carried all the way through their wedding with their wedding program, table number and menu trifold, escort cards and ending with their thank you cards. What a pretty wedding this will be!

Hearts and Hearts

A week later, Benniesha came back to meet with my husband, Ben with Sassani Photography, and I was able to show her the sample set. Most of the time, I send out the samples to the couples and I don't actually get to see their reactions. She couldn't help smiling and telling me how much she loved it. It feels great when a bride is in love with her stationary.
