Yarickza & LeRoy ~ Austin, Texas Wedding

When I met with Yarickza and her mom for the initial consult, they knew exactly what they wanted!  LeRoy is part of the armed services so it was natural for Yarickza to go with a navy blue as part of their color scheme.  To offset this dark colored pocket invite, they chose to go with a tangerine and pair it with a detailed damask pattern.  Yarickza and LeRoy finished off their wedding with a double sided program with the ceremony on one side and the other side their wedding party with characters, menus, place cards and table numbers.  It was definitely a pleasure working with you and your sweet mom!

Alicia & James ~ Montego Bay, Jamaica Wedding

Alicia emailed me about a year ago to start design her wedding invite.  This was one of my favorite invites that I have designed.  She wanted something simple and yet included enough info for their guests since it was a destination wedding.  So I created an invite where the travel accommodations and reception information could be found on the back and the RSVP postcard could be slipped into the band.  Alicia and James fell in love with it and program fans were created to match.

Christie & James ~ Paradise Island, Bahamas Wedding

To give their guests ample time to plan for Christie & James' wedding, save the dates were first sent out.  Then came the passport invitations.  These passports included all the airfare and accommodations info as well as an itinerary.  Passport invites are a great way to provide all the necessary information such as info about the destination, travel info and any to dos the couple may have tips on.  Happy anniversary!

Courtney & Marcus ~ San Diego, California Wedding

A couple of designs were done for Courtney and Marcus but in the end she wanted something sophisticated and simple for her destination wedding.  Although it wasn't something in the Caribbean, it was still a beach wedding.  The location was kept off of the invite as it was a surprise to the guests once they arrived so they didn't want to give too much away on the invite and choose tulips to keep a sleek design.  This one is quickly becoming a favorite among clients.  :)

Katie & Chase ~ Houston, Texas Wedding

This is one of the sweetest couples I've ever met!  About a year before their summer wedding, I met with Katie and Chase and started to go over their save the dates.  They both agreed that they wanted their engagement pictures on there.  So we did a few proofs before we got the right one nailed down.  They turned out pretty cute!  Then we met again a few months later to start designing their invites.  To tie in the navy blue and tangerine, they chose to go with a sophisticated paisley print and finish off with a ribbon wrapped bow.  And finally to complete the ensemble, Katie and Chase had programs made to match all their stationery.  Wedding photography by Sassani Photography.  Happy anniversary to you both!

Lien & Jim ~ Houston, Texas Wedding

When Lien decided it was time to start looking around for her wedding invites, she was stumped.  So she posted on Facebook asking if anyone knew someone who did wedding invites.  Only one person replied to her post and she decided that it was meant to be that I designed something for her.  She knew that her wedding was going to bling bling and it was only natural to start out with something bling bling on her invite.  Lien and Jimmy wanted something simple and sleek to give their guests a glimpse of what was to come for their winter wedding.

April & Daniel ~ Lime Beach Resort, St. Thomas Wedding

This destination wedding was completely unique as the couple was getting married on the beautiful beach of St. Thomas and while on a cruise.  Their cruise would dock on St. Thomas for the day for April and Daniel to have their wedding ceremony.  Now that's the way to do it!  April loves dolphins so it definitely had to be incorporated into the boarding pass invite along with the grass green and pinks.

Kristen & David ~ Canton, Massachusetts Wedding

It was such a pleasure to work with this couple!  Kristen and David were referred to me by her sister, Nicole.  Their wedding color and theme was inspired by the month they were getting married in, October.  It was natural to go with these fall colors of deep plum, pumpkin and sage and apple green.  I LOVED their color scheme.  We started out with invites and finished with place cards, table numbers, thank you and candy bar sign.  Each guest received candied apples as their favors with a personalized note from the bride and groom.  Photography from the wedding courtesy of Chinappi Photography.

Geraldine & RayMark ~ Houston, Texas Wedding

Geraldine and RayMark are one of the easiest and laidback couples I've had the pleasure to work with.  From the very beginning, she was sweet and down to earth and he the ever so quiet one.  But together, we were able to put together an amazing invite.  They wanted their stationery to resemble the architectural and gorgeous design of Hotel ZaZa.  Tying in the gold, purple, silver and black, we were able to capture this venue's and couple's sophistication.  Along with their invite included menus and programs.  Photographs by Sassani Photography and Zasey Photography.  A huge thanks to my friend Patsy Vivares for referring this amazing couple to Ben and I.

A Touch of Spring

When I met with Kirstin and David last year, they knew exactly what they wanted.  Well, Kirstin knew exactly what she wanted...David agreed.  :-)  With purples and greens and a touch of raffia, a garden themed wedding was exactly what they wanted for a refreshing spring event.  David and Kirstin also incorporated an engagement picture courtesy of my husband, Ben.  Kirstin wanted to use green envelopes, but didn't want any ordinary label.  So wrap around labels were used to complete the clean and classic look.  Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day!

A Whimsical Boarding Pass

This boarding pass had a fun and whimsical design incorporated with fuschia and orange.   Christie and James originally went with a teal and sand palette, but then realized that these colors weren't as vibrant and eye catching as they wanted.  Christie quickly emailed me back and decided bright and bold is the way to go with a destination wedding.  Pre-addressed envelopes to coordinate with font and color were added to complete the look.  A big thanks to Christie and James!

Swirly Boarding Pass

This boarding pass was so much fun to design.  Meyako called me one afternoon while waiting at the airport and surfing the internet for the perfect boarding pass.  After she had emailed a few potential stationery designers, she was in a bind.  A couple didn't answer her emails, a couple didn't return her phone calls and one that did return her phone call sounded frantic and couldn't find the time to give her the info she needed.  Well, needless to say, Meyako did leave me a message and I returned her phone call and after a quick conversation (as she was about to board a plane), I went to work designing some unique.  In her info email, she wrote wanted a little of purple, orange, yellow, green, and turquoise.  Also, she wanted something not too beachy but just a hint.  So I designed boarding pass with whimsical swirls and added a hibiscus flower for just the touch of beach.  I emailed the design over and she couldn't wait to see the actual sample in the mail.  We were a match made in heaven!  Thank you to Meyako and De'Mon for choosing me to design your wedding invites.  The pleasure was all mine!

Winter Tulips

When Gigi and Jason met with me a few months ago, they knew for sure they wanted something with yellow and grays.  This color combo is awesome!  Gigi wasn't sure what theme she wanted to go with but after looking at a few samples, tulips was the winner.  Instead of using the custom response card and response envelope, Gigi and Jason decided on saving with postage by using a response postcard.  Also keeping in theme with the color scheme, we also used a dark gray envelope and enhanced with a wrapped address band for sophistication.  I love it!

Contemporary Save the Date

Think your guests' will just take a look at this save the date and toss it in a drawer?  Think again...this save the date MAGNET will be posted right up on the fridge where your guests' will look at it every day until the BIG day.  Save the date magnets have been a growing hot trend for weddings and even to announce other big events.  Couples are even using magnets as their thank yous for after their wedding.

Palm Trees in Style

After speaking with Julie and Anthony on the phone, I got a great sense of what they wanted for their destination wedding on the beautiful island of Nassau, Bahamas. They knew that they wanted boarding pass invites, but where to begin? So they googled these invites and came across my website. I was ecstatic that after a long search, they decided on me designing their invites. Having been there myself and my best friend married in that very same place, I was able to identify their theme and ideas. The couple wanted something "beachy, chic and original." After tweaking the design, this is their boarding pass invitation that includes accommodations, itinerary and response card. It was pleasure to be included in their wedding planning from Florida! Enjoy!

Hook 'Em Horns!

What a fantastic way to start the football season than by sending your guests' burnt orange invites with your engagement picture in the UT stadium. Kim and Marco got engaged a year ago at the Texas~Texas Tech game and they thought it would be a great walk down memory lane if they could get inside the stadium to take some pictures. Ben of Sassani Photography made it happen! They decided to carry out their theme throughout the invite with burnt orange, bronze and a touch of maroon (no relation to aTm.) To top it all off with a classic touch, Kim wanted a bronze envelope and we used a wrapped label to address to her guests'. Thanks Kim and Marco for letting me a part of your wedding!

Peacock Wedding

Melanie had always envisioned her wedding with the theme following peacocks. The array of teals, deep blues, browns and olive greens were her inspiration. Melanie & Cesar wanted a sleek yet simple invite without the hassle of extra inserts so we collaborated on this trifold invite that give their guests' all the info they needed for this amazing wedding. The reception will be held at the Trevisio Restaurant and the deep blue and gold architecture/interior decor matches perfectly with this peacock theme.

Bronze 'n Paisley

Blanca and Jorge loved this design that I created as a sample for a wedding colllection. Their colors are blue and bronze and she wanted to incorporate paisleys throughout the wedding.

Regina & Fred

Congratulations to my brother-in-law Fred and his new bride Regina who got married this past Saturday. It was an amazing and fun wedding. Regina & Fred looked fabulous and of course didn't stop dancing til after the night was over. This is their wedding invitation that I created as well as place cards and table numbers. The program included the wedding party, menu and traditional Persian ceremony. Their photographer, Jason Lee, has already posted their pictures on his blog. Amazing!

Wedding in a Week Couple

Congratulations to Jaclyn & Chad for winning the Wedding in a Week contest! We met this past Monday and came up with this design for their wedding programs. They are an awesome couple and the very little time I got to know them, they are so grateful for all the vendors help in making this wedding become an amazing adventure. 100 programs were designed, cut, and assembled in less than 48 hours. Thanks to my husband for the extra help! Each guests' chair will have a program greeting them as they are seated and witness a weeks worth of awesome craziness all put together for the big event. Jaclyn will be here first thing in the morning to pick them up and then on to Hotel Sorella for Friday's big event. Their wedding will be aired Monday morning on Channel 55 between 6-10am. The newlyweds will also be at the Houston Wedding Showcase this Saturday at the George R. Brown Convention Center showcasing their big day.
