Sleek Boarding Pass
After speaking with Scarlett over the phone a few times, I pictured what she had in envisioned in her mind. She wanted something tropical with bright turquoise and coral, simple and not too busy, as well as sleek and sophisticated. So I got busy to work and designed something new for her. After sending her sample to her, she called and said, "It was like you knew exactly what I wanted and it's perfect!" Now that's what I call customer satisfaction. I love this clean design and can't wait to get started on Scarlett and Clayton's passport invites!

Palms in Jamaica
Heather and Travis wanted a unique way to showcase their wedding adventure in Jamaica. So they Googled boarding pass save the dates and found me! Heather contacted me and already she had an idea of what design she was looking for. Simple, beachy and yet eye-catching. I designed something for them with rosy pink and bright green and they fell in love with it. Thank you! Passport invites soon to come.

Palm Trees in Style
After speaking with Julie and Anthony on the phone, I got a great sense of what they wanted for their destination wedding on the beautiful island of Nassau, Bahamas. They knew that they wanted boarding pass invites, but where to begin? So they googled these invites and came across my website. I was ecstatic that after a long search, they decided on me designing their invites. Having been there myself and my best friend married in that very same place, I was able to identify their theme and ideas. The couple wanted something "beachy, chic and original." After tweaking the design, this is their boarding pass invitation that includes accommodations, itinerary and response card. It was pleasure to be included in their wedding planning from Florida! Enjoy!

Tulips in the Garden
From Stoneham, MA to Miami! I can't think of a better way than escaping the cold winter than planning a wedding celebration in warm and sunny Florida. And of course, choosing a garden themed boarding pass is a great idea to show your guests' what their wedding will entail. Thank you Nicole and Brian for choosing me to do your wedding stationery!

Picture Perfect Magnets
Gearing up for their upcoming nuptials, Katie and Jace wanted all their guests' to know when their big day is! Instead of just a regular 'ol save the date that would be tucked away in a drawer, they wanted to do a magnet that included an engagement photo for everyone to see on their fridge everyday! Thanks to Magen Johnson of Hand in Hand Weddings for the referral.

Love Travels
How great is it that you can have boarding pass save the dates and not actually have to leave the country? Or the city for that matter? Jeanne and Marvin decided that for their winter wedding, they would have a love travels themed wedding. Marvin works for Continental Airlines and thought it was be a great idea to incorporate traveling into their wedding. They are such a sweet couple and amazingly easy to work with. Jeanne tells me exactly what she wants and I just throw it all together! Keep a lookout for the their invites with bits and pieces of the "love travels" wording throughout.

Hook 'Em Horns!
What a fantastic way to start the football season than by sending your guests' burnt orange invites with your engagement picture in the UT stadium. Kim and Marco got engaged a year ago at the Texas~Texas Tech game and they thought it would be a great walk down memory lane if they could get inside the stadium to take some pictures. Ben of Sassani Photography made it happen! They decided to carry out their theme throughout the invite with burnt orange, bronze and a touch of maroon (no relation to aTm.) To top it all off with a classic touch, Kim wanted a bronze envelope and we used a wrapped label to address to her guests'. Thanks Kim and Marco for letting me a part of your wedding!

School Postcards
Of course Angie gives me another idea! She is a teacher and her school sends out postcards to all the students before the school year begins to welcomes back the students. How awesome would it be to order personalized ones that match your theme and on top of that, you don't have to actually hand write all of them! Her theme this year is rock and roll.
Another teacher she works with loved that Angie had personalized ones that matched her theme and asked if I could make jungle themed postcards. This is the assorted design. Enjoy.

Wedding Stationery Collage
I decided to start making collages of wedding collections that I've done for couples. It gives couples great ideas when they come for consults. Instead of putting all your stationery in a box where you would never look at it again, why not frame it? It makes a wonderful keepsake for you and your new spouse to share!

Signature Drinks
Signature drinks are a great for the budget conscious couple! Instead of an open bar offer only beer, wine, champagne, and one signature drink that you name and tie into the theme of the wedding. You can frame it and place it by the bar or have small cards with the recipe that your guests' can take home. Either way, it's another small touch to make it a more personal day.

Peacock Wedding
Melanie had always envisioned her wedding with the theme following peacocks. The array of teals, deep blues, browns and olive greens were her inspiration. Melanie & Cesar wanted a sleek yet simple invite without the hassle of extra inserts so we collaborated on this trifold invite that give their guests' all the info they needed for this amazing wedding. The reception will be held at the Trevisio Restaurant and the deep blue and gold architecture/interior decor matches perfectly with this peacock theme.

Kollin and Sports
Happy 1st Birthday to Kollin! I can't believe how fast he grew...literally...my godson is a chunky monkey. His mom, Angie wanted to do a disney themed party, but of course dad said NO! Why not a sports theme. It was a great idea. There were blow up basketballs, soccer balls, footballs and baseballs. Everyone had a blast!

Wedding in a Week Couple
Congratulations to Jaclyn & Chad for winning the Wedding in a Week contest! We met this past Monday and came up with this design for their wedding programs. They are an awesome couple and the very little time I got to know them, they are so grateful for all the vendors help in making this wedding become an amazing adventure. 100 programs were designed, cut, and assembled in less than 48 hours. Thanks to my husband for the extra help! Each guests' chair will have a program greeting them as they are seated and witness a weeks worth of awesome craziness all put together for the big event. Jaclyn will be here first thing in the morning to pick them up and then on to Hotel Sorella for Friday's big event. Their wedding will be aired Monday morning on Channel 55 between 6-10am. The newlyweds will also be at the Houston Wedding Showcase this Saturday at the George R. Brown Convention Center showcasing their big day.

Wedding in a Week
Last month, Houston Wedding Showcase sent out an email to all vendors to see who would like to participate in Wedding in a Week. Of course I was really interested! The couple will be chosen on February 19 and the entire wedding will be put together in one week. About a week ago, I was called to see if I was interested in participating and donating my stationery to the lucky couple. I said absolutely! This would be great a great way to get the word out on my stationery. Sponsors of Wedding in a Week will include Wedding Wire, Houston Wedding Showcase, radio station Mix 96.5, Fox26 and Channel 55. Here is the website which posts all the info.

Perfect Pocketfold
Last August at the Houston Wedding Showcase, I met Magen Johnson with Hand in Hand Weddings & Event. Since then, she has brought many couples my way. Katie and David and I rummaged through my samples and what Katie wanted to do was make a statement with a large invite. She fell in love with the 7x7 pocketfold invite as soon as she saw it and knew it was "the one." We quickly came up a combo of royal blue, black and silver. Katie absolutely knew she had to have the wedding program fan with a touch of paisley for her April wedding. Not only will it keep her guests cool, but it will also double as a wedding favor.

Black, White & Apple Green
Khoa and Jasmine are good friends of my cousin Sylvia and her husband Phong. We met a couple of months ago and they knew they wanted to have a black and white wedding. They wanted a modern and classy wedding. An accent color was a must but couldn't be decided upon. I showed them some weddings with the popular apple green color and immediately they loved it! With a summer wedding, I knew that this color would fit in perfectly. Together we chose a save the date magnet full of circles because Jasmine loves circles. Then a bifolded invite with a black and white patterned paper nicely complemented their vision. And of course closing their wedding stationery off with a thank you card.
